Job Description

- Manage and enhance SAP EHS applications, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
- Apply technical expertise to manage, improve, and support existing software applications to ensure business continuity.
- Write functional specifications for developers.
- Test, validate, and document customizations and development changes.
- Collaborate with product managers and HSE experts to analyze business and functional requirements and propose solutions for EHS processes.
- Participate as a project member or Project Manager for the development of new software applications.
- Support key EHS processes including Product Safety, SDS Authoring and distribution, Dangerous Goods Management, and global label management.
- Support Substance Volume Tracking (SVT), Poison Control Notification (PCN), and other registration processes as applicable in the Chemicals industry.
- Deep hands-on experience with SAP EHS in areas such as Product Safety, SVT, SVHC, and PCN.
- Expertise in SAP EHS Expert Rules setup, modification, and configuration.
- Knowledge of PCN using the Opesus solution.
- Understanding of SAP BW report structure and basic knowledge of SAP BW reports and interfacing.
- General SAP EHS customization experience.
- Knowledge in transversal business capabilities (e.g., Process Safety, Occupational Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene).
- Familiarity with Global Label Management (GLM) and S/4 Product Compliance.
- Experience with interfacing, IDocs, and ALE.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are appreciated.

Job Overview:
As an IT EHS SAP Expert within the Support & Maintenance team, you will focus on various Syensqo IT HSE applications, particularly SAP EHS. Your role will involve designing and implementing necessary evolutions and improvements to ensure business continuity. This includes writing functional specifications for developers, testing, validating, and documenting customizations and development changes. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the IT Syensqo organization and the Business HSE teams - Product managers, HSE experts to analyze business and functional requirements and propose solutions for EHS processes.
You may also participate as a project member or Project Manager in the implementation of project solutions across all project phases. To excel in this position, you must possess strong technical skills within SAP EHS as well as basic functional knowledge of applicable regulations within the chemical industry. Your expertise should encompass key areas such as Product Safety, SDS Authoring and distribution, Expert Rules, Dangerous Goods Management, SVHC, and SVT (Substance Volume & Tracking) and PCN (Poison Control Notification). Additionally, having a basic understanding of software development and interfacing tools will be beneficial to your success in this role.Key Responsibilities:
