Job Description

- Utilize skills learned in formal education program(s) to complete assigned projects related to assessing industrial hygiene (IH) exposures and managing sampling data.
- Leverage analytical and critical thinking to become proficient in Hexcel’s IH software (e.g., Cority).
- Work with global Hexcel sites to organize and record Hexcel historical exposure information.
- Interact directly with Hexcel leaders to discuss strategy and future opportunities at Hexcel.
- Build a lasting professional network through social events and engaging activities.
- Project based work as assigned by department manager will vary but may include: Analyzing, interpreting, and organizing occupational exposure data, populating industrial hygiene database, planning exposure assessment activities including helping develop and execute sampling plans, interfacing with site EHS and regional EHS Teams, and identifying and suggesting program improvements.
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with minimum of 2 years completed at an accredited college or university in an Occupational Health related program (e.g., Industrial Hygiene, Occupational or Industrial Health/Hygiene, Exposure Sciences, Public Health). Master’s degree level program preferred.
- 3.0 out of 4.0 overall GPA or higher.
- Ability to work full-time on site for a minimum of 10 weeks during the summer 2024.
- Comfortable working with computer programs, software, and systems.

Hexcel is currently seeking an EHS Summer Intern (Environmental/Industrial Hygiene/Safety) for our Casa Grande, AZ, or Salt Lake City, UT, locations.
Hexcel will provide transportation and summer housing or stipend for the duration of the internship in addition to compensation in line with the federal relocation guidelines.
