- The EKG lab is a small but dynamic and collaborative group of patient focused staff.
- Join our fast-paced environment for this unique opportunity to learn the world of cardiac monitoring and patient care.
- Perform technical skills to accurately assess the status of each patient
- Educate patients and document patient interactions
- Practice infection control
- Contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care
- Perform EKGs
- Place external monitors
- Support AICD & pacemaker clinic by rooming patients and prepping charts
- Prepare patients for cardiac Stress Testing
- At least 6 months experience performing 12 lead EKG's
- Basic EKG training
- Current BLS from the American Heart Association
- National EKG Registry
- Cardiology Experience
- 4 months experience performing Stress Testing
This is a benefited, full time position working 8-hr shifts Monday – Friday with variable start times between 7am-8:30am with a 30 minute lunch. No weekends or holidays. Located at the Anderson Medical Pavilion in La Jolla.
