What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process absentee ballots and perform data entry with accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain and organize files and records related to elections
- Assist in clerical tasks and public contact as needed
- Ensure compliance with established procedures and standards
- Collaborate with team members to support the electoral process
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduation from a standard senior high school or completion of the GED test
- Courses in typing, bookkeeping, and general office procedures
- Some clerical and public contact experience preferred
- Ability to meet established medical and physical standards for the position
- Accuracy and truthfulness in application and employment process
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a clerical role within a government or public service context
- Familiarity with election processes and procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for public interaction
