- Play a key role in developing a more energy-efficient battery technology to extend the range of Ford's electric vehicles, contributing to sustainability and innovation in the automotive industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science
- Capability to inspire, lead, and develop an engineering team.
- Self starter with ability to guide & resolve multiple egineering issues simultaneously.
- Solid communication skills both oral and written.
- Able to readily articulate technical issues in simple manner for audience comprehension.
- Willing to collaborate and fail quickly.
- Understanding of vehicle systems and customer behaviors that impact EV energy consumption (Wh/mi)
- Experience with electrical systems high-voltage (HV) batteries, eDrives / motors, etc.
- High integrity – expected to uphold tenet of providing technical truth and most trusted company tenets.
- Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science
- Systems engineering acumen and ability to assess design space trades to deliver most critical customer attributes, quality, and financial aspects.

- Manage the electric vehicle (EV) propulsion system program and the associated team interfaces
- Complete propulsion system selection and requirements cascade through the completion of Gives - Gets, VSRDs, USP / PPWB, Hardware Protection, etc.
- Assess impact of unit design changes and iterations
- Assess impact of What If studies on attributes
- Compile propulsion low voltage (LV) Aux loads
- Provide propulsion system input to program milestone paper
- Complete handshakes, affidavits, and media immersion presentations
- Complete analysis, cascade results, and manage workplan for workstreams transitioned from Propulsion Systems Design
- Manage workplan issues for centralized workstreams owned by Propulsion Systems Design
- Provide powertrain inputs required for MoSuite attribute assessments
- Support early platform studies with Vehicle Architecture team
