We are seeking a motivated, team-oriented individual to provide project management and E&I technical engineering services for a refinery process operations team. The project manager (PM) role is responsible for the successful delivery of engineering projects from conception through closeout. This includes managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, and communication across multidisciplinary teams. Projects typically range from small capital improvements to large-scale infrastructure upgrades ($50,000 - $5,000,000), often involving environmental, safety, and economic considerations. Management of multiple projects concurrently is required. The E&I Role of this position will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems and instrumentation used in industrial processes. Ensuring that all systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead or support capital/expense projects and Engineering Requests (ERs) through all phases: conceptual, feasibility, definition, implementation, and closeout.
· Define detailed and accurate project scopes in collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Technical Services, HESS, and other stakeholders.
· Managing multiple projects and assignments in a timely, safe, and cost-effective manner.
· Defining scope, developing cost estimates and schedules, and securing funding approval from management for small capital and expense projects.
· Coordinating project specific work with in-house designers and outside engineering contractors.
· Developing and reviewing construction packages to ensure new installations meet MPC and all applicable industry codes and standards.
· Specifying and purchasing of electrical/instrument engineered material for assigned projects.
· Providing field construction support and final project installation sign-off.
· Conferring with management and project stakeholders throughout a project life cycle
· Interacting daily with project team members developing and executing project objectives.
· Providing E&I technical support on multi-discipline projects.
· Conduct field verifications and inspections to ensure installations meet design specifications.
· Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis on electrical and instrumentation issues.
· Providing E&I support, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills for refinery process operations teams.
· Support or complete Management of Change (MOC) processes, Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) such as HAZOP, What-If reviews, and incident investigations.
· Providing E&I assistance to the Area Teams during process unit Turnarounds.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (accredited by ABET) is required.
· Minimum of 5 years post degree engineering experience in the refining, petrochemical, or industrial sectors is preferred.
· Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, Teams, etc.)
PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES:
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Effective communicator and works well in team environments.
· Familiarity with refinery operations and safety protocols.
· Familiarity with Smart Instrumentation (SI), and AutoCAD
