      Job Summary:

      Assists in the construction and remodeling of hospital structures using basic and complex electrical skills. Read blueprints and shop drawings, demonstrates the willingness to learn knowledge of electrical systems and procedures and materials used in their field. Performs additional related duties as required to meet project schedules including clear communication with supervisor and assisting co-workers in the construction department (not limited to electrical work only, you will be required to help other trades in times of need). Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with the patients, families, and visitors of all age groups while being sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs.

      Performance Expectations

      • Demonstrates the ability to properly and safely use the tools of the electrical trade.
      • Demonstrates the knowledge and skill to create or construct electrical related projects based on construction drawings.

      Qualifications:

      Education/Skills

      High school diploma or GED required.

      Work Experience:

      Previous work experience as an electrician is preferred but not required.

      Certification/Licensure-DUE UPON HIRE

      • Valid Drivers License
      • Maintain a Good Driving Record

      Mental Demands:

      Ability to follow directives, cooperates with others, and demonstrates initiative.
