Apprentice Electrician
Description: If you're looking for a job ASAP and have experience in residential electrical work, then this is the position for you! A top-tier employee-owned electrical contractor is looking for Apprentice Electricians to join the team and install new electrical systems in new homes. The company is looking for electricians to start right away, so we will provide a rapid interview process to get you working as soon as possible!
Responsibilities:
• Install new electrical systems in new homes, including wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, light fixtures, and appliance hookups.
• Interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to plan wiring layouts.
• Work on multi-family and new construction homes, including custom and executive homes.
• Meet attendance expectations and work efficiently and quickly.
• Bring a team-first attitude and work well in a team environment to accomplish daily responsibilities.
• Perform conduit bending, wiring, troubleshooting, and electrical installations.
• Interact with owners and team members daily.
• Perform rough-ins, pull wire, and trim out light fixtures and outlets.
Essential Skills:
• 2 years minimum of electrical experience in a residential environment.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch and perform basic math efficiently (subtract, add, divide).
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with construction, blueprint reading, general labor, electrical wiring, and troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Ability to bend, twist, kneel, and climb up and down a ladder for 8 hours/day.
• Valid driver’s license preferred; however, reliable transportation plans are acceptable.
• Experience with commercial or residential electrical crews.
• Experience with roughing in electrical work (bending pipe, pulling wire, installing electrical boxes).
• Experience with finishing electrical work (installing light receptacles, hanging lights, replacing lights).
• Appliance installation experience.
Experience Level: Intermediate–Expert Level

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
