- Learn and apply the mechanical/electrical skills required to assemble and disassemble automated packaging machines.
- Learn to read and understand machine blueprints, document per OEM documentation requirements and company standards.
- Use power and hand tools, shop equipment, testing and measuring devices.
- Learn and determine if machine parts match specifications.
- Learn to update and maintain machine documentation.
- Learn to identify and locate missing machine parts.
- Learn to update machine prints as required.
- Learn the proper procedure for ordering parts.
- Learn to verify the proper alignment and tolerances of all machine parts.
- Communicate with coworkers in a respectful manner.
- Maintain an orderly and clean work environment which includes toolbox, test materials, carts, shop equipment and surrounding areas.

- High School diploma /GED or equivalent.
- One year of relevant work experience in mechanical/electrical assembly preferred.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Assembler position is an entry level position that provides an individual the opportunity to learn, develop and apply the assembly skills and knowledge required to assemble and disassemble packaging automation machines. This individual works under the direction of an Assembly Production Supervisor.

This position receives a 15% shift differential.
