  Electrical Assembler

  Job Description

  We are seeking a dedicated Assembler for the afternoon shift to join our team. You will play a crucial role in assembling high-efficiency transformer units and power distribution solutions. Your work will contribute significantly to reducing electric waste.

  Responsibilities

  • Assemble power distribution units using hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and air compressed power tools.
  • Perform electrical wiring to panels following electrical schematics and install them into the outer shell of the distribution unit.
  • Test completed power distribution units to ensure proper functionality.
  • Perform general cleaning duties, build skids, and undertake any other general tasks as required by the manager.
  • Partner with a buddy to understand mechanical assembly procedures for various customized products before progressing to the wiring side of the plant.

  Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in electrical wiring and assembly.
  • 2+ years of experience reading and working from electrical schematics.
  • 1+ years of experience in mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  Work Environment

  You will start with training on the day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM for several weeks before moving to the afternoon shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday to Friday. The work is conducted in a small warehouse rented specifically for this project, with all materials organized for quick and efficient assembly. The environment is well-lit but can be a bit dusty. You will work closely with your team, so comfort with team collaboration and working in close quarters is essential.

  Job Type & Location

  This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BRAMPTON, Ontario.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $19.75/hr.

  This is a fully onsite position in BRAMPTON,ON.
