- Developing electrical detailed designs for telecommunications infrastructure
- Producing cost estimates for materials and labour
- Assisting construction teams during project delivery
- Updating databases and producing accurate as-built drawings
- Previous experience as an Electrical Engineer or Designer
- Technical fluency in Low Voltage and DC power systems
- Proficiency in preparing bills of quantities and interpreting CAD drawings
- Strong skills in MS Office, particularly Excel for cost estimation
- Familiarity with MS Access, Power Automation, and Power Apps (desirable)
- A current manual driver’s licence
- Willingness to travel and work away from home when required
- Understanding of ISO9001, OH&S legislation, and environmental licensing
- Experience designing solar and battery systems for commercial applications
- Knowledge of solar industry regulations and standards
- Basic understanding of LV/HV AC electrical systems

Ventia is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our Telecommunications/Wamarra team within the Critical Infrastructure division, based at North Plymton and Cavan office.
