What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Participate in the design, preparation, and integration of major electrical power equipment
- Prepare engineering calculations and electrical control circuit designs
- Perform tests and research problems using various sources of technical information
- Design or modify components while determining the intent of specifications or instructions
- Provide support to engineering teams on a variety of client projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university
- 1 to 7 years of Instrumentation & Controls experience on Nuclear or Power Plant projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD Software
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Voltage Regulator Projects, Turbine Control Upgrades, or Instrumentation Upgrades for Nuclear Power Plants
- Familiarity with project management tools or methodologies
- Previous experience in a consulting environment
