      Description

      SAIC is hiring an Electrical Engineer in Bedford, IN.

      Job Duties:

      • Tech development for self-sinter solder
      • Running lab experiments in support of mission critical tasks
      • Writing and evaluating technical reports
      • Assisting the lab manager in overseeing the local lab

      Qualifications

      Required Education and Experience:

      • Bachelor's degree and 0 years of experience; 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.

      Required Skills:

      • Ability to read and understand complex electrical and mechanical drawings along with their associated system level technical data package (TDP).
      • Experience with reliability testing execution and analysis (thermal cycling, thermal shock, mechanical shock and vibration)
      • Familiarity with System Engineering concepts.
      • Ability to interact directly with customers to extract requirements, generate a plan, and report status.
      • US Citizenship required.

      Desired Skills:

      • Comprehensive understanding of all phases of PCB production including bare board fabrication, assembly, and qualification
      • PCB design with Mentor Graphics PADS Layout, Cadence OrCAD PCB Designer, Altium, or Eagle.
      • Developing and executing test plans for printed circuit card assemblies
