      Exciting Electrical Engineer Opportunity!

      Job Description

      We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. The role involves drafting electrical schematics, managing board layouts, generating manufacturing documentation, completing design verification processes, and providing support during manufacturing and integration stages.

      Responsibilities

      • Draft electrical schematics detailing the integration of backplane and peripheral I/O subsystems in embedded computing enclosures.
      • Manage board layouts, including the construction of library parts, with designated layout personnel.
      • Generate bill of materials (BOMs) and other manufacturing documentation.
      • Complete design verification processes, including all required documentation.
      • Provide support during the manufacture of board and backplane assemblies and during chassis integration.

      Essential Skills

      • Electrical engineering expertise.
      • Proficiency in board layout, PCB design, and digital schematic capture.
      • Experience with board design for the defense industry.
      • Knowledge of PCB design/layout/manufacturing processes.
      • Experience working with outside vendors/board houses.
      • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • 10-12 years of experience in the aerospace/defense industry.
      • Working knowledge of printed circuit board design, layout, and manufacturing.
      • High-speed board design experience (>10Gig) strongly preferred.
      • Design experience minimizing EMI and ESD issues.
      • Ability to collaborate with customers on system engineering and architecture.
      • Experience with VME, VPX, CPCI, and VXS system busses preferred.
      • Knowledge of digital and analog circuit design.
      • Capability to handle multiple projects in changing priorities and short timeframes.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
