What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and analyze collection systems for renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and battery storage facilities
- Perform load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination studies to ensure system reliability and compliance
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports for collection systems and electrical designs
- Support field activities by providing guidance and addressing design issues
- Review manufacturer equipment drawings and ensure designs comply with electrical codes and interconnection requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, renewable engineering, or relevant field
- 3+ years of relevant experience in power systems, renewable energy, or utility-scale electrical engineering
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Knowledge of electrical design software such as ETAP, PSCAD, SKM, or equivalent
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

- Master's Degree in Engineering with a renewable energy focus
- Understanding of power distribution systems
- Technical writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of renewable energy industry relating to utility-scale wind and solar projects
