- Completes the detailed designs on projects by incorporating knowledge and past project success into the deliverables
- Able to complete deliverables in multiple lanes or areas of design
- Experience in multiple design delivery methods by working on design build, plan and specification, and/or design assist projects
- Coordinates information sharing with design disciplines, field, vendors, utilities, and governing agencies
- Completes site trips by planning, working with on-site teams, and processing information after the trip
- Delegates work to other team members by outlining the purpose and process of the deliverable
- Can lead routine project meetings
- Experience working in panel shop/prefabrication/field
- Assists in the estimate and conceptual design process
- Reviews updates and trains on current standards
- Graduate from Engineering program and eligible to complete the Fundamentals of Engineering
- Exam or have achieved the E.I.T. Certification prior to graduation
OverviewThe Electrical Engineer 2 is responsible for the constructable, detailed design on most projects. This role leads design efforts through completing site trips, coordinating with other engineering disciplines, vendors, and construction teams. Electrical Engineer 2 completes the conceptual design on small and medium size projects. This role also directs the work and prepares the work for others to execute.

Additional Information: The pay range for this position is $68,000 to $93,500+ benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting. The pay is determined by job related skills, training, education, and experience.

Education and/or Experience: B.S. degree from a 4 year ABET Accredited Engineering program. Additionally, should have 2-6 years of experience; or a combination of education and experience
Travel Requirements: Travel will be required and will vary according to business requirements. Generally, travel should not exceed 25% of your time
