Electrical Engineer- 100% remote!

Job Description

Join an innovative team in a rapidly evolving prototyping and R&D group, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting a Defense customer by swiftly creating PCBs. This role involves schematic capture, layout, component selection, and leveraging EMI expertise.

Responsibilities

• Capture and design schematics for electronic components.
• Select and layout components efficiently for PCB design.
• Ensure compliance with EMI standards.
• Utilize oscilloscopes and other equipment for new product development.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in hardware design and PCB design.
• Experience with Altium software.
• Strong capabilities in prototype design and schematic capture.
• Familiarity with layout techniques and EMI considerations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience in the Defense industry is preferred.

Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility to work remotely, provided you have access to your own lab and test equipment. The role is within a smaller organization, promoting a dynamic and fast-paced environment focused on quick turnaround for prototypes and hardware development.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $95.00/hr.
