What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design electrical systems for mission-critical and data center projects
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Perform technical evaluations and provide solutions to complex electrical engineering challenges
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and codes
- Coordinate workload and project development to complete documents on schedule
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis
- Minimum of 10 years of consulting engineering experience in the design of high-reliability electrical systems
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent technical and specification writing abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in Data Center/Mission Critical projects within an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
- Extensive knowledge of the NEC and uninterruptible power systems
- Familiarity with power distribution, generator support systems, and grounding systems
- Working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu, SKM Power Tools, CYMCAP, and Microsoft Office
- Strong desire to stay current with trends in the mission-critical industry
