I'm currently hiring for Electrical Engineer opportunity in Colleyville, TX!
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with expertise in PCB design and schematic capture using Altium Designer. The ideal candidate will have experience in the oil and gas sector, particularly with downhole tools, and a strong understanding of electronics design for high-temperature, high-pressure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop multi-layer PCBs using Altium Designer for downhole tools and related systems.
• Create and maintain detailed schematics, BOMs, and layout documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration of electronic components.
• Perform design validation, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies.
• Support manufacturing and field teams with technical documentation and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for reliability and safety in harsh environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in PCB design and schematic capture using Altium Designer.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably with downhole tools.
• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design.
• Familiarity with EMI/EMC considerations and thermal management in PCB design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with high-temperature electronics and ruggedized designs.
• Knowledge of signal integrity and power distribution in compact layouts.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and firmware integration.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
