What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design power plant sites, microgrids, and power distribution systems
- Utilize computer modeling for electrical systems and lighting systems
- Develop engineering drawings and specifications
- Perform and check engineering calculations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited College or University
- 10+ years of relevant experience in power generation and relay settings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in developing engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience with LM2500, LM6000, and Siemens-800 turbines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with microgrids and low voltage power systems
- Experience with grounding and lightening protection systems
- Knowledge of computer modeling software for electrical systems
