      Full job description

      We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team and support the design, programming, installation, and commissioning of automated finishing equipment. This role requires expertise in PLC programming, HMI development, and Electrical system design to deliver innovative solutions to our customers.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Design and develop electrical and control systems for automated finishing equipment.
      • Program and configure PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.), HMIs, and other control devices to meet project requirements.
      • Create and review electrical schematics and layout drawings, ensuring compliance with UL508A standards
      • Develop specifications for electrical components and systems.
      • Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of control systems.
      • Provide technical support during installation and commissioning at customer sites.
      • Develop documentation, including user manuals, programming diagrams, and electrical drawings.
      • Stay up to date with industry standards (e.g., ANSI, NFPA, NEC) and best practices.

      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
      • Proven experience in controls engineering in manufacturing or automation.
      • Strong working knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs, RSLogix 5000/500, Rockwell programming, and control panel design.
      • Experience with C, C++, or Python for embedded controls and real-time systems
      • Proficiency in AutoCAD, and MS Office.
      • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-output environment.
      • Certified for UL508A
