What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design additions and modifications to power generation electrical systems
- Perform electrical calculations, including load flow, short circuit, and arc flash analysis using engineering software
- Prepare and complete engineering designs and supporting documents, such as design criteria and specifications
- Scope, estimate, organize, and coordinate engineering projects with unique technical requirements
- Conduct technical reviews of deliverables to ensure compliance with company procedures and design requirements

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering
- EIT (Engineer in Training) certification required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Proficient in using engineering software for electrical calculations and design

- Experience in power generation or related fields
- Familiarity with relay protection systems and instrumentation controls
- Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking abilities
- Ability to work overtime as necessary to meet project deadlines
