What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead business development efforts to expand MEP/FP design services in healthcare and higher education sectors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while generating new business opportunities
- Develop and execute business development plans to meet revenue targets and maintain a strong client pipeline
- Collaborate with leadership to increase visibility at industry events and gather insights for service delivery improvement
- Manage sales forecasts and ensure alignment with business goals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Minimum of 7 years of experience managing clients in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry
- Strong understanding of consulting engineering and client relationship management
- Effective communication skills and highly organized with the ability to work independently
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in HVAC, power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and telecommunication systems
- Proven track record in business development and client management within the engineering sector
- Familiarity with industry networking and involvement in relevant associations
- Previous leadership experience in managing teams or projects
- Willingness to travel to client sites and industry events
