Providing technical support to SEL staff & customers.
Developing and maintaining knowledge in SEL processes and technologies.
Documenting and communicating test results.
Developing tools to support SEL Special Protection System’s development processes.
Continuously identify, measure, and improve processes.
You are currently a student pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, with two years engineering education completed.
You have the ability to work part time during the school year and full time during the summer.
You are proficient with Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Visio, and Excel).
You have practical knowledge of protective relays & automation controllers.
You have experience with Python, RTDS/RSCAD, or other power system modeling.
You have familiarity with Power Systems.
You have practical circuit knowledge.
School matters. SEL managers work with their interns to arrange flexible schedules that accommodate classes and studying while working part-time during the school year.

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) Engineering Services seeks a professional, innovative, and detailed individual for our Electrical Engineering Intern position. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work full-time during the summer and/or part-time during the school year. If you are a current student at an accredited university in the Pullman area looking for an opportunity to develop your electrical engineering knowledge, learn from industry leading engineers, and enhance your academic learning, then this may be the position for you!

Pay Range Data
($17.00 - $26.50 per hour ) Our intern pay is determined based on the internship role (the work you would be doing) and your year in school (when you plan to graduate). Talk to your recruiter if you are curious about the rate for your year in school.
