- Join the HPE Aruba Networking Hardware design team, designing and validating next generation hardware platforms for high-end Ethernet switching systems.
- Design and implement the system electronics for enterprise Ethernet switch systems, conducting product validation tests and working cross functionally with other development groups.
- Engage project teams of other electrical hardware engineers and development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for high-complexity products.
- Generate design documentations, perform schematic capture, design board layouts, perform lab measurements and verify leading-edge designs.
- Research and enable innovative solutions for cutting-edge designs.
- Innovatively solve issues, drive completion of the project to schedule, and collaboratively network with other technical contributors. You will be owning all aspects of assigned areas, including verification.
- Independently plan and schedule your own work to meet goals and deliverables.
- Collaborate and communicate with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution
- Provides guidance and mentoring to junior engineering staff members.
- Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- Typically 4-8 years of experience.
- Knowledge and technical understanding of both digital and analog circuit design.
- High speed design board skills
- Proven technical execution skills and experienced in delivering quality designs on time.
- Extensive design experience with PCA design tools like Cadence and Allegro.
- Working knowledge of and keen interest in high speed design, signal integrity issues and power distribution techniques.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in test and measurement of high-speed signals.
- Knowledgeable of programming languages such as Python, Perl and MATLAB.
