      If you are a Lean professional with an electrical background looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an excellent opportunity in Houston, Texas! As an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer, you will lead the improvement of manufacturing processes, production layouts, and materials flow at the Crossridge Manufacturing Facility.

      This role is responsible for developing and implementing common manufacturing processes and Best Practices within plant operations. This position is also responsible for achieving Best Customer Service and Perfect Execution objectives. The objective is to establish and implement common Lean Best Practices via standardize work across all product lines within the facility to achieve Key Performance Indicators.

      In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
      • Build and deploy the lean transformation plan within the organization to achieve operational objectives.
      • Develop a culture of continuous improvement by daily hands-on-coaching and working closely with all levels in the organization.
      • Design and implement lean processes while following PDCA methodology.
      • Participate in Daily Management process including daily management meetings, and GEMBA walks.
      • Facilitate Kaizen and SMED events to drive improvements using Pull, Kanban, Standard Work, 5S, and making material flow.

      For This Role, You Will Need:
      • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or another technical field
      • 3+ years of successful lean implementation experience with consistent track record of balanced results
      • Validated experience in key lean tools and concepts such as: VSM, 5S, Std Work, Crafting Continuous Flow, Material Flow, and Transactional Lean)
      • Experience with leading and directing manufacturing engineering professionals
      • Capable of domestic and international travel up to 15%
      Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
      • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation
      • Experience working with PCBA, Power cards and Motors
      • Confirmed understanding of Toyota Production System
