      Job Title: Industrial Electronics Technician

      Job Description

      This role demands a high level of performance with a sense of urgency in inspecting, maintaining, programming, modifying, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic systems modules and devices used in an industrial environment.

      Responsibilities

      • Operate at the level of an apprentice with a sense of urgency to learn all electrical and electronic issues.
      • Build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify programming on production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems with assistance as needed.
      • Maintain proper documentation through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
      • Comply with company safety, quality, standard operating procedures (SOP), and HACCP guidelines.

      Essential Skills

      • Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
      • Proficiency in electronics and wiring.
      • Ability to inspect, maintain, program, modify, and repair electronic systems modules and devices.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Minimum High School diploma.
      • 1 to 3 years of industrial electronics experience.
      • Demonstrates a high level of precision, accuracy, and alertness.
      • Good decision-making skills.
      • Ability to lift 50 lbs intermittently.
      • Good networking and computer skills.
      • Proficiency in programming, repairing, and troubleshooting AB Control, Compact, Micrologix PLCs, AB Panelview/Panelview Plus HMIs.
      • Skill in troubleshooting and repair of industrial motor control and variable speed drive systems.

      Work Environment

      Work primarily inside a climate-controlled manufacturing site. The position requires working night shifts from 3pm to 11:30pm, with some overtime.

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brunswick, Georgia.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
