- Install, troubleshoot, repair, design, and service electrical and electronic equipment.
- Diagnose and correct electrical issues and proactively seek to eliminate wastes and failures.
- Perform and document preventative maintenance checks and repairs.
- Use PLCs, microprocessor-based equipment, and computer software for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Maintain hydraulic presses, thermal processing equipment, and robots.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to maintain equipment documentation integrity.
- Electrical Journeyman Card or 4+ years of industrial electrician experience.
- Experience with 480V 3 phase electrical systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting PLC systems.
- Experience in running and installing electrical conduit.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot using a multimeter and other electrical testing tools.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and robotics automation.
- Combustion experience is a plus.

2nd Shift: 3pm-11:30pm
3rd Shift: 11pm-7:30am
Job Description
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of electrical and electronic equipment. You will work with communication systems, radio-controlled cranes, gauges, PLCs, and both low and high voltage power distribution systems. Your role will involve diagnosing and correcting problems, performing preventative maintenance, and interfacing with design and engineering teams to ensure efficient equipment installations and repairs.

The pay range for this position is $96324.80 - $96324.80/yr.
- They do get daily overtime (anything worked over 8hrs is time and a half), time and a half on Saturdays, double time on Sundays)

- Howmet will get electricians through program to get them journeyman certified - this process takes 3 years (great opportunity to receive journeyman cert)
- Company typically puts anywhere from $10-20 million/ year into the facility for upgrades and new equipment, starting to upgrade to automation
