  Job Description

  Join us in providing a wide range of repair, replacement, and improvement services aimed at restoring dependability and sustainability to hydro power facilities. You will work on projects that increase capacity and efficiency, from component assessment and design to site installation and commissioning. Hydro power is the most economic form of renewable energy, and we are committed to environmentally friendly concepts.

  Responsibilities

  • Work daily with 460v, 230v, 208v, and 115v systems.
  • Read and understand electrical drawings.
  • Install electrical panels, conduit, and wiring for auxiliary systems associated with hydroelectric turbine/generator units.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance of machine equipment and overhead crane equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair machining and welding equipment breakdowns promptly.
  • Set up, organize, and store equipment spare parts.
  • Perform mechanical maintenance, including work on gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, and troubleshooting rotating equipment.
  • Interact with supervisors and co-workers effectively in a team-like atmosphere.
  • Operate scissor and boom lifts, and work at elevated heights.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace through assigned housekeeping tasks.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Journeyman Electrician certification.
  • Experience with low voltage systems.
  • Ability to operate scissor and boom lifts.

  The pay range for this position is $150280.00 - $150280.00/yr.
