      Job Title: Electrician

      Job Description

      We are seeking a skilled electrician with extensive experience in commercial and industrial electrical work. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to bend pipe and conduit, install cables and wiring, and manage both ground-up and renovation projects. This position covers the Greater Philadelphia area, NJ, and DE, and is offered on a contract-to-hire basis.

      Responsibilities

      • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, control systems, and lighting.
      • Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
      • Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
      • Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.
      • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
      • Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code.
      • Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
      • Perform preventive maintenance to keep electrical systems in working order.
      • Communicate with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure electrical systems meet set specifications.
      • Complete job reports and order supplies as needed.

      Essential Skills

      • 5+ years of electrical field experience in commercial/industrial settings.
      • Ability to bend pipe and conduit.
      • Proficiency in installing cables and wiring.
      • Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
      • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
      • Knowledge of state and local building regulations and the National Electrical Code.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • High school diploma or equivalent.
      • Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical systems.
      • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
      • Good communication skills to interact with clients, architects, and contractors.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that may require standing, bending, and lifting.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $34.00/hr.
