Job Description
- Req#: ELECT011205
- Schedule and complete repairs and installations according to company priorities.
- Install new residential, commercial, and industrial service equipment.
- Perform commercial & industrial troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.
- Perform accurate daily time sheets.
- Maintain and ensure the safe operating condition of assigned equipment and tools according to company policy and OSHA.
- Perform skilled electrical maintenance and repair in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
- Supervise Electrical Contractors on large projects as assigned by Electrical Department Manager.
- Professional interaction with internal and external customers.
- Maintain open communication with the Electrical Department Manager.
- Follow all company policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must obtain your Journeyman license within 6 months of employment.
- Proficiency with National Electrical Codes and OSHA regulations.
- Self-motivated and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Capable of using all electrical testing equipment and electrical tools.
- Proficient bending and installing Rigid and EMT conduit.
- Must have the knowledge and experience to make code compliant and safe repairs and installations.
- Ability to work at different heights with necessary safety equipment.
- Must be available to be on-call.
- May be assigned to work various hours and shifts based on business needs.
- Requires out of town overnights stays.
- Exposure to residential and commercial waste.
- Ability to travel between offices, as required.
- Ability to work flexible hours; overtime, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays.
- Must be available for 24-hour emergency calls.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable).
- Must successfully complete pre-employment testing.
- Must be able to read and speak the English language.
The Electrician III is responsible for all aspects of residential, commercial, and industrial wiring, troubleshooting, installing, and repairing of Rumpke owned equipment and buildings.

Commercial and Industrial Electrical experience
Preferred
Motor Control experience is a plus
Previous foreman or other supervisory position is a plus
