      Job Title: Electrician

      Job Description

      We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components. Your expertise will ensure the safety and functionality of lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems in various projects.

      Responsibilities

      • Read blueprints to execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems.
      • Install electrical devices and fixtures such as switches, circuit-breaker panels, fire alarm systems, plugs, and lighting.
      • Pull wire and bend and install conduit.
      • Troubleshoot, inspect, install, and/or replace wires.

      Essential Skills

      • At least 5 years of commercial electrical experience.
      • Ability to read blueprints and layout work for the team.
      • Experience installing lighting, controls, and devices.
      • Familiarity with the National Electrical Code.
      • Journeyman certification.
      • Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
      • CPR and First Aid training (preferred).
      • High School Diploma or GED.
      • Graduate of State electrical apprenticeship or technical school equivalency.
      • Experience managing a crew of 10 preferred.
      • Ability to complete a 3-week lookout schedule.
      • Experience installing commercial and industrial power systems, lighting, controls, and working with high-end finishes preferred.
      • Clean driving record for consideration of driving company vehicles.
      • Ability to pass a pre-employment
      • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
      • Capable of performing limited to frequent stooping, kneeling, walking, standing, and overhead work.

      Work Environment

      Work on new construction projects in the greater Nashville area, including Vanderbilt, a school in Franklin, and a mixed-use building in 12 South. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 1st shift, starting between 6:00 am - 7:00 am, generally working 8-hour days. Overtime during the week and Saturday work may be required. Must have OSHA 10 certification or be willing to obtain it during orientation. Valid driver's license and diploma or GED are required.

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, Tennessee.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
