Job Summary Details:
The Electrician safely performs troubleshooting, maintenance, tests, repairs and electrical installations in large commercial settings.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years or older• Three (3) years of experience as a Journeyman in the electrical field is required.• On the job training provided.• Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license.• Must possess journeyman electrician's license in the state, county or city jurisdiction in which work will be performed.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Five (5) years of experience as an electrician is preferred.• Prior experience as electrician in an industrial or commercial setting is preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment on-site• Perform electrical installations of a commercial nature• Plan layout and installation of electrical equipment, conduit, wiring and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes• Install electrical conduit, equipment, fixtures or wiring in floors, walls and ceilings• Install, inspect and test electrical systems• Perform installations which include but are not limited to panel boards, conduits, lay-in fixtures, wall packs, exit signs, light fixtures, disconnects, breakers, power distribution equipment and power supply wiring• Refer to labels, job site maps, instruction manuals, and written instructions to accurately to perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards• Report work orders, scheduled jobs and work progress to a foreperson• Ensure code compliance through proper installation of electrical components
