  Job Description

  As an Electrician, you will troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on all building equipment. You will perform mechanical and electrical repairs and assist in the installation of new and process equipment as needed. You will also report and repair any safety and quality issues discovered.

  Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on all building equipment.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical repairs and assist in the installation of new and process equipment.
  • Report and repair safety and quality issues.

  Essential Skills

  • Experience with VFD's and gear boxes
  • Electrical work up to 480v
  • Ability to fix different kinds of pumps
  • Experience with 3 phase and single phase motors
  • Knowledge of PLC's (programming not required)
  • Ability to bend, reach, and stand for 8 hours

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as an Electrician
  • 5+ years of experience in a commercial or industrial setting
  • 5+ years of experience with programmable logic controllers, circuit boards, AC/DC, VDF drivers and control circuits, level sensors, flow sensors, pressure sensors, pumps, seals, bearings, solenoids, motors, motor starters, and relays.
  • Welding, machining, fabricating, and plumbing skills are nice to have

  Work Environment

  This is a 1st shift position with a schedule of 7am - 3pm, Monday through Friday. The work environment is a climate-controlled food facility where employees are required to wear shoe covers, hair/beard nets, and lab coats (maintenance lab coats are comfortable and easy to move in). The facility has a vinegar smell due to the product produced.

  This is a Permanent position based out of PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wisconsin.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
