    • Electrical License (Preferred)
    • Knowledge of electricity, wiring methods, and electrical maintenance
    • Three years electrical work experience
    • Ability to climb and work from ladders and scaffolds.
    • Valid Mississippi motor vehicle operator’s license
    • Must be insurable by district insurance carrier.
    • Pass background test as outlined by district policy.
    • Reads blueprints and schematic diagrams.
    • Troubleshoots and repairs complicated electrical and electronic equipment and wiring systems.
    • Installs electrical conduit and wiring.
    • Designs and installs electrical systems and equipment.
    • Performs preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
    • Fabricates and installs various metal components such as fan guards, equipment containers, mounting brackets, panel covers, etc.
    • Prepares estimates of time and materials for construction projects
    • Keeps record of work and materials used.
    • Exercises proper safety precautions during performance of daily job assignments
    • Secures keys, materials, equipment, tools, and supplies carried on work vehicle.
    • Works overtime as necessary for emergency work and special job assignments.
    • Assists members of the department and members of other departments when needed.
    • Performs other related duties as requested or assigned.
    • Willing to work on low and high voltage while live.

      Qualifications
