- Run conduit and install electrical lines, cables, and boxes.
- Install, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs.
- Perform instrumentation and calibration of equipment.
- Replace and rewire DC Motors, particularly 480V.
- Repair and setup Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
- Interpret ladder logic and schematics, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic drawings.
- 2+ years of high-level electrician experience.
- Experience with changing valves and transmitters.
- Effective troubleshooting of PLCs.
- High School Diploma.
- Post-high school education, volunteer work, or relevant certifications.
Electrician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled electrician to join our project team. The role involves a significant focus on running conduit, installing cables, installing boxes, and running electrical lines, accounting for 50-70% of the work. The position also requires installing, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance on plant equipment including corrugators, automatic valves, transmitters, regulators, DCS, and overhead cranes.
