- Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and component lubrication.
- Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures, ensuring strict adherence to our quality standards.
- Apply electrical test equipment for troubleshooting electrical circuitry and effectively implement solutions.
- Build and close work orders in the asset management system with comprehensive data, including labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
- Troubleshoot semi-complex problems, determining the resources needed to resolve them efficiently.
- Locate and supervise spare parts from inventory, ensuring availability for all necessary repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance and equipment testing to guarantee they meet our stringent specifications.
- Respond to service calls, addressing equipment failures and faults promptly.
- Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to resolve them.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization, encouraging an environment of collaboration and support.
- High School diploma or equivalent experience required. An Associate's degree or specialized skill training/certification is preferred.
- General knowledge of a technical or specialty area.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with successful demonstration of responsibilities as outlined.
- Ability to lift and move material up to 50 pounds.
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
- Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.
- Functional dexterity in both hands and wrists.
- Ability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
- Job may involve tight spaces, dust, fumes, temperature variations, noise, vibration, standing on concrete, and wet surfaces.
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 10–12 hours.
- Flexibility to cover multiple shifts and holiday hours as needed.
The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 at Dematic Corp. is an outstanding opportunity to join a world-class team dedicated to innovation and excellence. This role is crucial in ensuring the flawless operation of our material handling equipment at the Piscataway, NJ site. This position offers a night shift schedule, working Monday through Thursday, 2:30 pm - 11 pm, and Friday, 1:30 pm - 10 pm, with occasional weekends required as needed.What we offer:

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $30- $35.50 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
