      About the Opportunity

      Reporting to the Health Services Manager, the Electrophysiology Technology (EP) is an allied health professional with electrocardiography (ECG) experience and in-depth knowledge and understanding of the EP lab environment, application, equipment, and patient care platforms to fully understand the electrophysiology laboratories environment.

      Using intracardiac catheter recordings, electrophysiology technologists analyze complex arrhythmia, heart block, and myocardial infarction. In addition will be an expert in rhythm management and device implantation and interrogation.

      About You


      We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

      • Successful completion of the Electrophysiology Technologist Program required
      • Minimum two years' experience as a cardiology technologist required
      • Current registration and good standing with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists
      • Current BLS (HCP) certification

      Where there are no qualified applicants possessing completion of the Electrophysiology Technologist Program, consideration may be given to Registered Cardiology Technologists with two years of experience in clinical cardiology who agree to take the first available Electrophysiology Technologist Program and complete it within three years of the date of hire.

      Physical Limitations: Required to wear a heavy lead apron during procedures.

      Hours

      Permanent Full-time position; 75 hours biweekly

      Compensation and Incentives

      $32.16 - $39.04 Hourly
      $40.40 with 25 years' experience
