- Connecticut State Department of Education Elementary Certification (013)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Experience working in a diverse, urban school setting preferred
- Familiarity with instructional technology and digital learning tools

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking Elementary Classroom Teachers for the 2025–2026 school year to serve students in grades K–5. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment; implement high-quality instruction aligned to curriculum standards; and support the academic, social, and emotional development of all students. Teachers must demonstrate a commitment to equity, student-centered learning, and ongoing professional growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Salary and benefits are paid in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between NEA Danbury and the Danbury Board of Education , available on the district website.
