East Moline School District #37 is seeking one Elementary Music teacher for Ridgewood and Wells for the 2024-2025 school year.

Qualification Requirements:
1. Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or Educator License with Stipulations (ELS), suitable for grade level assigned
2. Music endorsement required
3. Prior experience in vocal music instruction, such as classroom teaching or student teaching required.
4. Must be skilled at teaching in a team atmosphere This person will have responsibilities within the building as part of a Professional Learning Community
5. Must be adept at building relationships and maintaining high academic and behavioral standards for all students
6. Possess competence in computer skills and use of other educational technology such as, but not limited to, Smartboards, iPads, etc.
7. Must possess strong inter-personal skills with a proven record of building rapport with culturally diverse students and families, to ensure each child reaches his/her full potential

This position is an exempt-level position under the FLSA and is part of the East Moline Education Association Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Salary: Placement on the EMEA Certified Salary Schedule.
