      Job Summary:
      Full-time position (1.0).
      Teach music classes to grades K-5
      Teach instrumental band to grades 4 and 5
      (Beginning band for 1st year performers and CLS Band for 2nd year performers)
      Teach chorus for grades 3, 4, and 5
      (Grade 3 chorus meets monthly, grades 4 and 5 chorus meet twice monthly)
      Teach recorders to Grade 3 students
      Responsible for two concerts annually for performing ensembles (Winter and Spring)
      Includes a stipend for before and after school instrumental lessons and weekly band rehearsals that occur before school on
      Thursday mornings (7:45 to 8:40 a.m.), and twice weekly during the month
      of a concert (Mondays and Thursdays)
      Responsive Classroom experience welcomed

      Experience or Special Skills:
      Elementary level music classroom experience preferred
      Experience teaching instrumental band and chorus preferred
