06/03/2025 - Design and modify the setting in the computer for attendance reporting.
- Set up and print attendance scan forms, distribute and collect scan forms from teachers, scan attendance information into the computer, run daily attendance reports, contact parents for unexcused absences, enter excused absences into computer, and decide which students need to report to the truant office.
- Register new and transferring students. Set up files for student records and cum folders and assign student numbers.
- Request student records from other schools.
- Process student records for enrollment and withdrawals, request or send transcripts, and maintain immunization and other student records.
- Design and modify the computerized master student class schedule as directed by the building Principal.
- Set up and print class schedule request scan forms, scan student course requests, oversee the computer automatic scheduling process, and handle walk-in scheduling.
- Generate student suspension letters as requested by the Dean of Students. File suspension data and compile suspension reports monthly for administration and yearly reports for CDE.
- Make necessary changes to student information such as address, phone number, custodial parent, and emergency information and generate reports as needed for teacher and administration use.
- Greet visitors, answer phone, and schedule appointments for parents and students.
- Direct the work of the student office workers to perform routine office functions, ensure proper behavior, and maintain discipline.
- Type Maintenance Department work orders for repairs needed to the building and serve as a liaison for building maintenance requests.
- Schedule usage of rooms for various meetings and conferences.
- Perform maintenance of building keyboard and distribute and collect keys to/from building personnel.
- Track student information and generate reports for annual October Count enrollment, perfect attendance, Honor Roll lists, and other reports as necessary.
- Design and modify grade reports and transcripts in the computer.
- Print the grade scan form, distribute and collect scan forms from teachers, scan grading information into the computer, check and correct scanning errors, verify errors, and correct grades with teachers.
- Print and distribute grade report cards to students and parents.
- High School diploma or equivalent plus courses/or proven experience in office management and computers.
- Self-directed, self-motivated and possess initiative.
- Good communication skills, basic math aptitude, and demonstrated ability to problem-solve.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
- Operating knowledge of and experience with computers, general office equipment, and phone system.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) required.
- Must be able to pass a Colorado and Federal Bureau of Investigation background check.
- 6 months to 2 years of experience with clerical duties and working with children.
- Must maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
- Infinite Campus experience preferred. DESCRIPTION: Perform administrative and secretarial activities related to student database management including registration, filing, typing, record keeping, student schedules, student grades, transcripts, and attendance. Perform other duties such as issuing medications to students, tending to ill students, and other office related duties.

SALARY: Classified, Grade O, starting at $23.63 per hour depending on relevant experience. 8 hours per day, Tuesday through Friday, 4-day/10-month work calendar, paid over 12 months. Position is eligible for benefits.
