    • Individual and group counseling.
    • Classroom lessons as per district counseling curriculum.
    • HIB investigations.
    • Crisis/threat assessments.
    • Serving as a resource to staff, parents, and administration.
    • Providing referrals to community services.
    • Participation on school teams such as Intervention and Referral Services, School Safety/Climate Team, 504 Team, Behavior Committee, and others.

    • Description:
      Assume all responsibilities of an elementary school counselor.

      Tasks include but are not limited to:
      • Individual and group counseling.
      • Classroom lessons as per district counseling curriculum.
      • HIB investigations.
      • Crisis/threat assessments.
      • Serving as a resource to staff, parents, and administration.
      • Providing referrals to community services.
      • Participation on school teams such as Intervention and Referral Services, School Safety/Climate Team, 504 Team, Behavior Committee, and others.

      Qualifications:
      NJ School Counselor Certification
