  Seeking an experienced Enterprise Search Engineer who has a strong background in implementing enterprise search solutions using Elastic Search. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in optimizing search performance, scaling the system to handle large datasets, and ensuring the reliability and availability of the Elastic Search cluster. The candidate should also have expertise in hybrid search solutions, combining the power of both on-premises and cloud-based search technologies.

  Responsibilities:

  Design and architect Elastic Search clusters based on business requirements, scalability, and performance considerations.

  Deploy, configure, and maintain Elastic Search nodes, indices, shards, and replicas.

  Implement appropriate data ingestion and indexing strategies to ensure efficient search operations.

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyse search needs, and define search strategies that align with business objectives

  Develop and maintain search schema, mappings, and indexing strategies to optimize search relevancy and performance.

  Integrate and synchronize data from multiple sources, including structured and unstructured data, to provide comprehensive search results.

  Develop and implement monitoring solutions to track the health, availability, and performance of the Elastic Search cluster.

  Identify and resolve issues related to search functionality, indexing, and data retrieval.

  Conduct performance tuning, load testing, and capacity planning exercises to ensure search infrastructure can handle increasing data volumes and user loads. Implement security measures to protect sensitive data within the Elastic Search infrastructure.

  Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy policies, including data retention and access controls.

  Document system configurations, technical specifications, and procedures related to enterprise search implementations.

  Requirements:

  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  At least 7 years of experience as an Enterprise Search Engineer, with a strong focus on Elastic Search implementation.

  Proficient in Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana (ELK) stack, and related technologies.

  Solid understanding of search algorithms, relevancy ranking, and information retrieval concepts.

  Proficiency in designing and implementing enterprise search architectures using Elastic Search or similar search platforms.

  Experience with hybrid search solutions, integrating on-premises and cloud-based search technologies (e.g. AWS Cloud Search, Azure Cognitive Search, etc.).

  Knowledge of security best practices for securing Elastic Search clusters.

  Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or similar languages commonly used in enterprise search development.

  Hands-on experience with search query languages (e.g., Elasticsearch Query DSL, Lucene Query Syntax) and search engine APIs.

  Familiarity with data ingestion, transformation, and indexing processes to facilitate efficient search operations.

  Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex search issues and optimize search performance.

  Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  Preferred Qualifications: Elastic Certified Engineer certification or relevant Elastic Search certifications
