      About the Position

      An Enrollment Manager manages, coaches and leads a team of Enrollment Representatives to ensure that individuals are following University standards, policies and practices to connect with prospective students and helping them make informed decisions about their college career to achieve their educational goals. An individual collaborates with department leadership to develop and implement individual performance goals, and continuously monitors employee behaviors to ensure that employees are having effective conversations with prospective students in ways that comply with applicable law, regulatory requirements and University policy.

      What You’ll Do

      1. Collaborate with department leadership to develop and implement individual performance goals, and continuously monitor employee behaviors to ensure prospective students have a positive experience, while ensuring compliance with applicable law, regulatory requirements and University policy.

      2. Continually observe employee behaviors and effectively coach and advise employees on improving the quality and effectiveness of information delivery.

      3. Ensure all staff are knowledgeable about all University courses and programs, as well as degree program options, enrollment requirements; ensure staff are able to guide prospective students through the University’s enrollment process and able to answer questions in a respectful and encouraging manner.

      4. Participate as needed in the talent acquisition process to assist in selecting candidates and in the on boarding process.

      5. Proactively identify opportunities to coach, including individualized accountability relative to expected behaviors and outcomes, to ensure individual and team performance goals are met.

      6. Demonstrate growth mindset and change management skills to positively influence behaviors of all staff.

      7. Select, mentor, coach and evaluate staff; establish and monitor appropriate employee performance objectives; prepare and present employee performance discussions, including one-on-one meetings and quarterly check-ins; implement mentoring and coaching plans, or disciplinary action, where appropriate.

      8. Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

      Supervisory Responsibilities

      Direct management of enrollment representatives

      MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

      • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

      • Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience, that includes mentoring or assisting others in professional development, in a service environment

      PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

      • Previous experience as an enrollment representative

      • High level of interpersonal and communication skills to accurately convey University information

      • Self-motivated and be able to work effectively in a team environment

      • Able to effectively communicate in written and oral formats to employees and students as well as convey a professional image to potential students and the corporate community.

      Pay Range

      The annual pay range for this position is $59,300 (minimum), $81,200 (midpoint), and $103,100 (maximum).*

      *Typical hiring range is between the minimum and midpoint of the above pay range. Actual starting base pay may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, location and budget.
