      The Email Deliverability Manager is responsible for ensuring that Groupon’s email campaigns reach their intended recipients effectively, driving engagement and conversions. This role is critical to optimizing email performance and directly impacting gross profit by addressing deliverability issues and enhancing key metrics.

      ? You'll be spending your time on the following:

      • Conduct thorough analyses to identify weaknesses in Groupon’s email deliverability

      • Utilize tools and techniques such as SPF, DKIM, DMARC authentication, sender reputation monitoring, and spam filter testing to diagnose and resolve deliverability issues

      • Develop and implement strategies to optimize email deliverability

      • Manage the execution of these strategies, ensuring they align with industry best practices and regulations

      • Generate comprehensive deliverability reports for various email types (transactional, triggered, commercial) using tools like Tableau, internal databases, Google Analytics, and event tracking

      • Analyze data to provide insights and actionable recommendations for improving email performance.

      • Monitor and report on key deliverability and business metrics, including email sends, soft and hard bounces, feedback loops (FBL), opens, clicks, and orders

      • Track sender reputation, inbox placement rates, and engagement metrics to ensure high deliverability rates

      • Independently drive deliverability improvements, measuring success through ongoing analysis of business metrics

      • Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and regulations in email marketing to continually enhance deliverability practices.

      • Create a process of troubleshooting and monitoring performance on the daily basis

      • Cooperate with engineering department on identifying and fixing issues

      ? We're excited about you if you have:

      • Proven experience in email deliverability management (ideally more than 5 years), with a strong understanding of ISP behaviors, email authentication protocols, and industry best practices

      • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Tableau, Google Analytics, SQL, Elastic, etc.)

      • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools is a must (Jira, Asana, ...)

      • Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making and problem solving

      • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

      • Great communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (revenue, IT, marketing, ...)

      • Capability to drive innovation and foster a performance-driven culture.

      • Confidence to make decisions and take charge in directing teams and initiatives.

      • A hands-on management style with a track record of leading teams and projects.
