      The SFMC Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing emails for Driveway. We’re looking for a strong marketing background with experience in high volume sending. Knowledge of email execution/technology and offer driven focus is required. This role manages the deployment of campaigns and cross channel communication journeys through Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

      The Email Marketing Specialist reports to the Sr. Solutions Architect.

      Position Overview

      Area of Responsibility

      • Manage all aspects of email program, including journey builder for welcome series, birthday, service reminders and more
      • Develop, Manage and create a strong testing strategy for continuous improvement of all journeys and campaigns
      • Responsible for utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud for creation, list management, deliverability and distribution of emails
      • Collaborate with copy and design teams on creative execution of offers
      • Conduct market research to better comprehend consumer behaviors
      • Review former campaigns to ascertain areas of strength and weakness
      • Conceptualize marketing campaigns
      • Distribute emails through Automation Studio or Journey Builder
      • Monitor and report on campaign success. Provide recommendations to improve strategy
      • Responsible for being current on all direct marketing and email marketing best practices, CAN-SPAM, and GDPR compliance and applying that to direct marketing efforts
      • Collaborate with peers and vendors to modify / create efficient processes.
      • Continuously improve products technically and visually.
      • Work in collaboration with internal marketing teams to create best practices for file set-up and efficiencies in communication creation and deployment.
      • Maintain standard methodoligies for Marketing Automation Platforms, including troubleshooting, naming conventions, list management, etc.
      • Meet and adhere to production deadlines and timeframes.
      • Perform other duties as required and assigned

      Qualifications

      The following knowledge, skills and abilities are needed to be successful in this position:

      • Degree in marketing management, advertising, communications or similar and 2+ years of relevant work experience.
      • Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience strongly preferred, including experience with Journey Builder, Email Studio and Automation Studio
      • Proficient in HTML, CSS and ampscript
      • Experience with customer segmentation and performacne marketing, experience initiating and executing projects and campaigns through a customer first strategy
      • Additional preferred qualifications: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certifications, SQL

      Lithia Hiring Requirements

      • High school graduate or equivalent.
      • 18 years or older
      • Possess an acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license in state of residence
