      Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer

      Job Description

      We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to enhance the functionality of autopilot systems with specific capabilities in line pulling. The role involves developing battery management and radio communication functionalities using LUA scripting language. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of networking and radio communications.

      Responsibilities

      • Supplement existing autopilot functionalities with new capabilities.
      • Develop battery management and radio communication functionalities using LUA scripting.
      • Engage in software development primarily in C++
      • Perform firmware development, including bring-up testing and board development.
      • Work with embedded systems in an operating system specific to STM32 (Shivious).
      • Handle communication protocols, focusing on UDP networking.
      • Collaborate with teams to enhance and maintain autopilot systems.

      Essential Skills

      • Proficiency in C++ for software development.
      • Experience in embedded software and systems.
      • Strong understanding of networking, particularly in UDP.
      • Background in electrical engineering.
      • Experience with ArduPilot and PX4 opensource autopilot systems.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Networking background or training.
      • Aircraft or aviation experience is advantageous but not required.



      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
