      EMEA Supplier Quality Manager

      MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Leading Quality improvement or specific programs with suppliers, co-manufacturers, EMEA and Global McCormick stakeholders. Global directives implementation.
      • Management of selected co-manufacturers and suppliers’ categories. New vendor approval. First point of contact for suppliers and co-manufacturers. Provide quality input and work with the business units to resolve issues related to raw materials and vendors. Implement suppliers and co-manufacturers performance strategy. Monitor corrective and preventive action plans.
      • Effectively support key business initiatives such as NPD, CCI, derisking activity to ensure quality by design and right-first-time delivery .
      • Including q uality approval of new ingredients, packaging, promotional items and co-manufactured finished products. Using McC tools and standards (examples : FTN creation and review, RFI, PIR, workflows).
      • Vendor Auditing – Support the creation of a suppliers audit plan. Work with third party providers to ensure completion of the audit against McCormick requirements. In some cases, Audit and inspect McCormick’s raw material, packaging and co-manufacturers to assure their compliance with McCormick Quality Expectations and specifications.
      • Suppliers/Comanufacturers KPI scorecard data analysis, trends monitoring and on time reporting.
      • Proactively inform the team manager about quality risks identified and actively reduce risks and their impacts on the business.
      • Support regulatory changes implementation in supplier quality area.
      • Support the creation, updating and implement quality instructions and procedures required to support the business.

      CANDIDATE PROFILE:

      • Bachelor (BSc) of Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology or similar technical field required
      • Relevant food industry experience required with experience in supplier quality function (2 years minimum) and in raw materials or related areas
      • Strong working knowledge of food processes, HACCP, risk management and sanitation ideally gained in a food manufacturing environment.
      • Knowledge in food safety raw materials and quality systems programs throughout a range of industry areas.
      • Internal auditor certification.
      • Strong communication, innovation and influencing skills.
      • Teamwork and ability to work efficiently in a multicultural work environment and in a matrix organization.
      • SAP experience preferred.
      • Fluent in English
      • French and other European languages like Italian, Polish highly appreciated
