      Location : Remote (Czech Republic)

      We are building a world class Global Trade Services (GTS) organization and the Industrial Business Unit Trade Analyst is a new position within GTS, that will play a critical role in supporting trade operations and compliance within the Industrial Business Unit (IND BU) in EMEA region.

      The GTS Industrial Trade Analyst serves as a trusted advisor and key team member within TE’s Operational Compliance team for the Business Unit. The purpose of this role is to facilitate TE’s compliance, at the BU level, with import and export regulations in EMEA region to enhance global trade compliance, reduce risk, increase responsiveness to issues and opportunities, and support effective operational aspects of international trade.

      As a Trade Analyst, you will reports into GTS IND BU EMEA Trade Manager and will be a key member of the Global Trade Services (GTS) team. As part of the GTS team, the IND EMEA Trade Analyst will join a group of professionals who are passionate about ensuring the future growth of the business by providing business solutions for compliance with global trade laws and regulations.

      Responsibilities:

      • Execute trade operations for compliance with import/export laws (customs and export controls).
      • Maintain compliance activities as per TE policies.
      • Serve as a contact for trade-related matters in the Industrial BU.
      • Develop solutions for adapting to business changes.
      • Monitor KPIs for operational efficiency.
      • Report on trade compliance activities.
      • Partnering with Trade Compliance Professionals and Stakeholders:
      • Collaborate with GTS Governance to track regulatory changes.
      • Conduct trade compliance audits and oversee corrective action plans.
      • Administer trade compliance training.
      • Ensure proper use of the GTS Operations Service Center.
      • Identify cost-effective trade opportunities.
      • Foster relationships with internal functions to address trade compliance issues.

      What your background should look like:


      • Bachelor's degree required (international business, supply chain, law, or related field)
      • 3+ years’ experience in global trade compliance in an international environment
      • Functional knowledge of import and export regulations and familiarity with customs practices in countries across the region
      • Experience in close collaboration with customs and export control authorities and customs brokers,
      • Fluent Czech and English languages skills are required, German is a plus
      • Proven ability to work with variety of business groups, including supply chain, legal, procurement and finance
      • Knowledge of the EU Military and Dual Use Export Controls with a good understanding of the US Export Controls (ITAR & EAR)
      • Ability to foster teamwork and internal and external relationships
      • Excellent organizational habits and priority management
      • Customer focused with a commitment to quality
      • Travel may be necessary in fulfillment of responsibilities
